My daughter Hara was born in Shanghai. Although her birth was fast, there were complications, causing my wife to be in surgery for a further 12 hours. She prevailed thanks to those wonderful doctors and nurses from Shanghai who never gave up.
Fast forward 7 years and we find Hara in her fantasy world constantly dressing up, with robots being one of her favourites.
Today Hara is 13 and honestly, a little ambivalent about starting High School.
Let’s fast forward 7 years again to when Hara is 20. She will be facing a radically new job market, an unfamiliar one that none of us here have faced or completely understand. Hara will be working alongside robots. An age in which AI, Robots, Cobots, and autonomous systems and automation will redefine the world of work.
Little did my daughter know that the robots she dressed up as in her early years would become her workmates in her later years.
The science is unequivocal. The place to start and help our children become Robot Ready is in their First 1,000 Days of Life, when life’s cognitive, social & emotional, and physical scaffolding is being designed and built.
So, at Neurofrog we’re on a mission to help as many kids as possible, like Hara, develop the skills and resilience that will enable them to thrive and reach their full potential working alongside robots in the future of work.
